Introduction
ESCI-UPF LAB is an ESCI-UPF initiative in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship that brings together students, alumni, lecturers and companies.
Objectives
- Hone the creative skills of students linked to the school.
- Help companies by bringing them closer to the principle of open innovation and stimulating intrapreneurship.
- Encompass all the innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives being formulated at ESCI-UPF.
- Boost the sense of belonging to the institution.
Projects
- INNO-ESCI-UPF project (2011–2012). Challenges posed by the following companies: HABALUC, MANGO and AUREN.
- INNO-ESCI-UPF project (2012–2013). Challenges posed by the following companies: FÒRUM UNIVERSAL DE LES CULTURES, GRAN VALIRA, ESCI-UPF (choice of logo for the 20th anniversary).
- ESCI-UPF was involved in the TARRACOLAB project (2013–2014).
- INNO-ESCI-UPF project (2013–2014). Challenge posed by: Ajuntament de Valls.
- MANGO SMILE (2013–2014 and 2014–2015). Visit the blog.
- ESCI-UPF was involved in the Manacor Innova! project (2014–2015).
- Launch of real-life challenges to help identify external internship projects (third-year BDIBM students) and Bachelor's Degree Final Projects (fourth-year BDIBM students) (2014–2015). Participating companies: VITAE, PERLAS MAJORICA, SANOFI, COVIDES and INDUCT.
- Launch of real-life challenges to help identify Company Internship Projects (third-year BDIBM students) and Bachelor's Degree Final Projects (fourth-year BDIBM students) (2015-2016 academic year). Participating company: Bon Àrea.

Abstract
Se trata de recabar información relevante (salario, tiempo de trabajo, etc.) de 12 ocupaciones concretas, diferenciando por tamaño de empresa y para 3 comunidades autónomas (Andalucía, Cataluña y Madrid). Para ello, se utilizan microdatos de la Encuesta de Población Activa (2014) e información de la Encuesta de Estructura Salarial (2010). Con los datos recabados, el investigador Stephan Wolter analiza el retorno de la inversión de la formación profesional dual.

Abstract
ESCI-UPF organiza el Start-Up Event del Proyecto Manacor Innova!, una experiencia de identificación de retos locales (lanzados por el propio Ayuntamiento y cuatro empresas del municipio de Manacor) que deben ser solucionados por los alumnos de los tres institutos de la localidad (IES Manacor, IES Portocristo e IES Mossèn Alcover) mediante la aportación de ideas creativas y emprendedoras.

Abstract
Es tracta d’avaluar els indicadors de qualitat de les 95 escoles d’educació infantil de l’IMEB. S’ha procedir a avaluar els indicadors de qualitat d’aquests centres educatius des d’una perspectiva multidimensional, fent servir diverses fonts d’informació (registres de preinscripcions, matrícules i bonificacions i informació quantitativa i qualitativa del mateix IMEB) i entrevistes a directores de centres d’educació infantil. Tot el projecte s’ha centrat en el curs escolar 2013-2014.
