Would you like ESCI-UPF students in your company?
At ESCI-UPF we train professionals specialising in International Business and Marketing and equip them with the skills to manage companies in a global world.
Companies play a key role in training students: internships let students acquire competences and skills that only the business environment can provide.
Student profiles
1. Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Marketing
Availability: April to June (extendable until September).
Working day: full time.
Part-time internships are possible from January to March (afternoons).
Age: 20–21. This mandatory internship is usually their first contact with the business world.
Medium of instruction: Catalan, Spanish and English. Mandatory additional language: French, German, Russian, Chinese or Japanese.
Computing skills: advanced users of the Office suite, especially spreadsheets; highly skilled in online tools and SPSS.
Meet our 3rd-year students
Availability: September to June.
Working day: part time (mornings).
Age: 21–22 .
They have the workplace contact they acquired when they did their mandatory internship.
Medium of instruction: Catalan, Spanish and English. Mandatory additional language: French, German, Russian, Chinese or Japanese.
Computing skills: advanced users of the Office suite, especially spreadsheets; highly skilled in online tools and SPSS.

2. Master’s Degrees
Students on our Master’s in International Trade, Master’s in International Retail and Master’s in International Digital Marketing courses.
Availability: September to June (maximum 800 hours per course).
Working day: flexible, depends on each case.
Timetable: our master’s courses are compatible with standard working hours.
Internships are not mandatory.
Medium of instruction: the master’s degrees are taught in Spanish; students’ command of other languages will vary.
Master of Science in International Business
Availability: July to December.
Working day: flexible (minimum 2 months).
Internships are mandatory.
Age: 22–25.
Medium of instruction: the master’s degree is taught entirely in English; students’ command of other languages will vary.
